September 2009 Archives
Waimea Canyon is the largest canyon in the Pacific and truly a dramatic sight to behold. Amanda and I drove up the trail for some VERY awesome sights. Also we went to a coffee plantation!

waiting for the tank to fill up...
Not smelly anymore!
We are at the six day mark and we can say without a doubt that we are done waiting. A year and four months of planning has almost taken its toll on us. Today we will pack for the honeymoon and get some final things done like laundry and cleaning the house. My friend Jeff gets into Chicago Tuesday and then along with Amanda, Sarah and Meili we will leave for Toledo on Wednesday. Four people and a dog on a five hour trip in our truck? Should be fun!
The weather report has me stressed out, right now there is a 40% chance of rain. But since we live in the mid west that has been changing day to day. I am hoping that it clears since a lot of the pictures we have planned with our EVER SO AWESOME photographer are to be set outside. Plus I would rather get married in the gardens then cramped inside the lodge.
Meili and Myrtle have a love hate thing going on right now and have had a few spats. But they seem to be working it out. We can only hope.
I just signed up for classes at Annoyance theater for level 3 (of 5) and will start that after the honeymoon.
Our honeymoon fund reached then exceeded our goal! We wanted to get a $1000 in it and we reached $1167 not bad. CNN featured my iReports on the front page of CNN which was cool.
Not much else to report except that we are almost done!
On the Redline...
We got free tix and free hats...
Don't mess with mah dawg yo!
Really nice in Chicago today!
At the Cubby's game with Amanda!
Monday - Stressed about my audition that I did on Saturday. I felt good about it but I felt that last year and that turned out bad.
Tuesday - Waited all day to find out if I got a callback and got nothing, to top it off Meili started whining and could not use her back left leg. So I rush her to the vet to find out she slipped a disc in her back. She got a steroid shot and some steroid pills / muscle relaxers.
Wednesday - Had to hand feed the dog and carry her everywhere. Did my second to last show at Comedy Sportz. No one in my group got a call back. Then the audience was not that into us so the show sucked.
Thursday - Meili started using her leg again and that made me happy, had rehearsals at Second City then came home to find Amanda half asleep and cranky (She had not really had a good nights sleep in three weeks.)
Friday - Got the final word from CSz. I'm not in the farm team either. Which means after Wednesdays show I am done with performing there for the next year. Makes me a little sad since it was starting to feel like my new home theater. Oh well...
Saturday - Went out with our friends John and Lindsey to a Michigan State bar to watch the game and got BLITZED! I think we both needed that.
@ Duffy's watching the Michigan game.
Our friend Kristen is crashing with us till October and this is her dog Mertle...
