I ordered a $250 Zales gift card from my Thank You points on my credit
card this weekend. I got an email about 5 minutes ago telling me my
gift card had been shipped. When I got the mail 2 1/2 hours ago the
gift card was in the mailbox. I think the email notification is a
little slow....

Fall is in full swing. This weekend is cool and rainy. Highs are
supposed to only by in the upper 40's and low 50's. Our heat is on intermittently, and the heaters were turned on at the EL over the last
couple weeks. I bought my winter coat 2 weekends ago, and got my boots
today. My boots are waterproof are supposed to keep my feet warm down
to -20 degrees. I'll report how they do when the cold sets in. I got
another sweater today, and I think I'm going to wear it tonight for
Bryan's 30th b-day party. After appetizers at the Zera's, we're going
bar hopping. I expect that I'll be pretty chilly.
In other news, work is still going well. It's been a slow week for me, but next week I get a new vet whom I expect to be challenging. I'm looking forward to a challenge. I don't want to work with easy guys all the time. I volunteered to be on the committee to raise money for the Combined Federal Campaign. Just in the last 3 weeks the blind center has raised over 600 dollars. Our goal is to be the best money raisers in the hospital. I bought my wedding dress. I sent the link to several people, but if you are interested and didn't get an email from me then let me know. We also reserved rooms at a local hotel for out of town guests. Sometime soon Alan and I need to reserve our room. That's about all I know for right now.

Its fall here in Chicago. The morning are cold.. And a few days ago I
awoke to the all radiators in our apartment hissing and whistling
signaling that our free heat was being turned on.
I have two shows in November, on the first I was invited back to do "The Sickest F**king Stories I ever heard!" again. Then on the 14th I am invited to perform with a group at Donny's Skybox (at Second City) the group is called "Group 4" so little by little I am making friends and connections.
Classes at Comedy Sportz have been good until Monday night when we had a flub-up with out teacher. (He went to thier old location not the new) we hung for about 50 minutes and then went home. First time in my five year history of taking class that has happened. Heh...
Last night Amanda and I went to a VERY fancy sushi place in our hood. The service was great... Some times a little too great! At one point I was like "Ok, pal... Shoo! Git! Go on! We don'a want whut you be selling! Shoo Fly! Shoo!" I love fancy-pants places.
Tonight is Bryan's birthday and we are going bar hopping so that should be fun.
Amanda is excelling at her new job they really seem to like her a lot and she seems really happy. Which is good. My job has been steady and I am adapting to working at home a little better now. I may back to LA in the end of January for a few weeks. More on that later as I find out from work.
November 4th can not come soon enough. I am really feeling the stress of this race like no other. I want a win for Obama for so many reasons, but I fear things like the GOP pulling its dirtiest tricks these nest two weeks. I know if the election was held Monday it would be Obama by a landslide. But I thought the same for Gore and look how that turned out.
Well, got to go give my poor old dog a bath now. She had one of her seizers this morning and pee'ed all over herself and me... Yay!!! Elderly Pekingese!!! WHOOO-HOOO!! Nothing like an old flat-faced dog to start the weekend.
Cheers all...
